Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ApplianceMath.ai ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SB Logical Properties LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use this Site.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.

Description of Service

ApplianceMath.ai provides a free, data-driven calculator tool that generates an ApplianceMath Score ("AM Score") to help homeowners evaluate the financial merits of repairing or replacing a household appliance.

The AM Score is a decision-support tool only. It is not professional advice — financial, legal, technical, or otherwise. It is not a guarantee of repair costs, replacement costs, appliance lifespan, or repair outcomes. It is a data-backed recommendation designed to inform your decision, not replace your judgment.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, TOOLS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

SB LOGICAL PROPERTIES LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS

Repair costs, parts availability, appliance lifespan, and labor rates vary based on your specific appliance, technician, local market, and circumstances. The AM Score is based on aggregated data and estimated inputs — actual costs and outcomes may differ materially from what the calculator suggests.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SB LOGICAL PROPERTIES LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY AM SCORE, RECOMMENDATION, OR CONTENT ON THIS SITE
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR DECISION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE AN APPLIANCE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THIS SITE
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR WEBSITES ACCESSED THROUGH AFFILIATE LINKS ON THIS SITE
• LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY UNDER WHICH DAMAGES ARE SOUGHT AND EVEN IF SB LOGICAL PROPERTIES LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES IS NOT PERMITTED, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

No Professional Advice

The AM Score and all content on ApplianceMath.ai is provided for informational and decision-support purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes:

• Professional appliance repair advice
• Financial or investment advice
• Legal advice
• Engineering or technical advice

Before making any significant financial decision regarding appliance repair or replacement, we encourage you to consult qualified professionals including licensed appliance repair technicians, contractors, or financial advisors as appropriate.

Intellectual Property

All content on ApplianceMath.ai — including but not limited to the AM Score name and methodology, the ApplianceMath brand, site design, text, data compilations, graphics, and code — is the property of SB Logical Properties LLC and is protected by applicable United States copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use ApplianceMath.ai for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not:

• Reproduce, copy, or distribute any content from this Site without prior written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the AM Score algorithm or methodology
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from this Site by automated means
• Use any content from this Site for commercial purposes without prior written permission from SB Logical Properties LLC
• Frame or embed this Site or any portion of it on another website without prior written permission

Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

Acceptable Use

By using ApplianceMath.ai, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its underlying systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or its servers

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these terms.

ApplianceMath.ai contains links to third-party websites including retail partners and service providers accessed through affiliate relationships. These links are provided for your convenience.

We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Clicking an affiliate link and visiting a third-party site is done at your own risk and subject to that site's terms and policies.

User-Provided Data

When you use the ApplianceMath calculator, you provide inputs including zip code, appliance model number, appliance age, and issue description. By providing these inputs, you:

• Represent that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Grant SB Logical Properties LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use anonymized, aggregated versions of this data for research, product improvement, and publication of market insights
• Acknowledge that individually identifiable information will never be published or shared with third parties for marketing purposes

Data Accuracy and Updates

ApplianceMath.ai makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate, current data including labor rates, parts pricing, appliance MSRPs, and lifespan estimates. However:

• Data may not reflect real-time market conditions
• Prices, availability, and labor rates change frequently
• ApplianceMath.ai is not responsible for discrepancies between data shown on the Site and actual market conditions at the time of your repair or purchase decision

We update our data regularly but make no warranty that any specific data point is current or accurate at the time of your use.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SB Logical Properties LLC and its members, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of ApplianceMath.ai
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any decision you make based on the AM Score or any content on this Site
• Any content or information you submit to the Site

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of ApplianceMath.ai shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us at legal@appliancemath.ai to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving written notice.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

If you believe that content on ApplianceMath.ai infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@appliancemath.ai including:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
• Identification of the material on our Site you believe is infringing
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

We will respond promptly to valid DMCA notices.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Affiliate Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and SB Logical Properties LLC regarding your use of ApplianceMath.ai and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications between the parties.
